  • 1/4 c. butter (1/2 stick)
  • 1/4 c. sliced natural almonds
  • salt and pepper

    beans in 12-inch skillet or 1 (4 quart) saucepan. Heat 1 inch of water to boiling; add beans and simmer 10 minutes. Drain

    beans and transfer to bowl. In same pan melt butter;

    brown.
