  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 2 Green Onions, Thinly Sliced
  • 8 ounces, weight Mushrooms, Sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoons Celery Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 5 dashes Hot Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Milk
  • 3/4 cups Sour Cream
  • 1 loaf Italian Or Crusty French Bread (your Preference)
  • Mayonnaise, to taste
  • 1 Tomato, Sliced
  • 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Grated

Directions

    Preheat oven to 500 degrees F if you would like to broil your subs just prior to serving.

    In a medium sauce pan, cook ground beef, onions, and mushrooms over medium-high heat.

    When beef is fully browned, drain the pan.

    Stir in garlic powder, salt and pepper, celery salt, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, milk, and sour cream.

    Heat through and let simmer for about 10 minutes.

    Cut your bread loaf in half.

    Spread mayonnaise on one side, then place tomato slices on top of it.

    Place meat mixture on the other side and sprinkle with as much of the shredded cheese as you like.

    If desired, place under the broiler for a few minutes to melt the cheese.
