Stuffed Artichokes

Ingredients
- 4 artichokes
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- 2 c. flavored breadcrumbs
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 4 tsp. oil (any kind)
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Directions

1First remove stem and cut off top of artichoke to make flat. Use scissors to remove any remaining tips on leaves.

2Rinse under cold water while spreading leaves slightly.

3Turn upside down to drain.

4Mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese and garlic together. Using spoon, stuff in between each leaf completely stuffing the artichoke.

5Place about 1 1/2 inches of water covering bottom of pot.

6Add lemon juice.

7Place artichokes in pot with cover.

8Pour 1 teaspoon of oil on top of each artichoke.

9Bring to a boil, then simmer about 45 minutes to 1 hour.

10Check to make sure water has not evaporated.
