- 1 large cabbage
- 4 lb. hamburger
- 1/4 c. rice
- 4 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 (46 oz.) can tomato juice
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp. onion salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Core cabbage; put in pan of boiling water.

2Remove about 12 leaves when loose.

3Mix hamburger, rice and tomato sauce in a large bowl.

4Wrap hamburger ball in leaf of cabbage.

5If it won't stay together, use toothpicks on stem of cabbage.

6Put rest of ingredients in a large pot.

7Put cabbage rolls in pot in 2 layers. Put lid on; simmer 3 hours or until cabbage is tender, about every 1/2 hour.

8Remove grease formed on top of pot.
