- 2 lb. ground chuck or ground turkey
- 1 1/2 c. rice
- 1 medium head cabbage
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 1 small can tomatoes
- salt and pepper to taste
- lemon juice to taste
- 6 cloves garlic (optional)
Directions

1Boil cabbage leaves that have been separated for 2 to 3 minutes.

2Place meat, rice, salt, pepper and lemon juice in a bowl and mix well.

3Stuff and roll cabbage leaves with meat mixture into small firm rolls.

4Arrange the rolls in baking dish.

5Place 2 cloves garlic between each layer.

6Add water, tomatoes and tomato paste and cover and bake until done.
