- 1 large head cabbage
- 3/4 c. cooked rice
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Drop cabbage into boiling water.

2Let stand until soft enough to separate leaves.

3Drain and cool to handle.

4Cut out stem and remove leaves. Combine beef, rice, eggs, onion and salt.

5Put about a tablespoon of mixture in center of each cabbage leaf. Roll leaf around meat and close up ends. Can use toothpicks to hold together. Place rolls together in a large pan. Combine vinegar, sugar, tomato sauce and enough water to cover the cabbage rolls.

6Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
