- 1 c. cooked rice
- 1 small onion, chopped
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg
- 1 cabbage head
- 2 cans tomato sauce
Directions

1Trim off cabbage leaves.

2Mix all other ingredients together. Divide mixture into 10 to 12 portions.

3Wrap each ball in a leaf and fasten with a toothpick.

4Brown cabbage rolls in Wesson oil. Pour off fat.

5Cover rolls with tomato sauce.

6Cook slowly, covered, for about 40 minutes; stirring occasionally.
