"Stuffed Cabbage" Casserole

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 3 c. shredded cabbage
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste

Directions

    Brown the meat with onion in oil until meat is browned.

    Drain well and add seasonings.

    In greased casserole, alternate layers of cabbage and meat mixture. Pour tomato soup over all. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

    (If desired, add 2 cups cooked rice alternating with other ingredients.)
