- 1 head cabbage
- 1 lb. hamburger and 1 lb. Italian sausage
- 1/2 c. long grain and wild rice
- 1 minced onion
- 2 minced gloves garlic
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1/4 c. margarine
Directions

1Core head of cabbage to depth of 3 inches.

2Cook to boiling. Remove leaves with tongs.

3Let stand and cool.

4Cut out hard center.

5Mix all ingredients together.

6Roll mixture in cabbage leaves and cook with sauerkraut, remainder of cut up cabbage, spareribs, tomatoes (cut up) and tomato sauce.

7Cook 4 to 6 hours on simmer.
