Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

- 1 medium cabbage
- 2 c. ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1 c. minced onion
- 3/4 c. raw white rice
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1 can tomatoes
Directions

1Gently pull off cabbage leaves; simmer in 1 inch boiling water for 5 minutes, covered.

2(Or you may take the core out of cabbage and microwave whole head for 9 minutes.

3The leaves will pull off easily.)

4Drain and lay out ready for filling.

5Combine meat, egg, onion, rice and seasoning.

6Fill leaves loosely with mixture, roll up and place in 9-inch skillet.

7Sprinkle with cheese, pour on tomatoes and cook until steam appears.

8Then turn to low heat for 1 hour.
