- 16 large cabbage leaves
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 2 c. cooked white rice
- 2 slightly beaten eggs
- 1/4 c. snipped fresh parsley
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 32 oz. jar sauerkraut, rinsed and well drained
- 1 15 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 4 tsp. lemon juice
- Dash ground Allspice
Directions

1Trim veins from cabbage leaves.

2Immerse leaves four at a time in boiling water.

3Cook for 2 to 3 minutes or till leaves are limp.

4Carefully remove and drain well.
