- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 slices Roman Meal bread
- 1 egg, beaten well
- 1/2 tsp. bouquet garni herbs
- 2 slices Swiss cheese
- 1 can mushroom soup
Directions

1Tear up bread and also Swiss cheese.

2Add bouquet garni.

3Pour half of beaten egg into dressing of bread and cheese.

4Mix well. To meat, add a good pinch of bouquet garni and half of beaten egg. Mix beef well, then divide into four patties, placing them on wax paper.

5Next, divide dressing, after well mixed, into four balls. Work beef around each, placing in a baking dish.

6Top all with mushroom soup and bake uncovered at 400° for about 1 hour.

7Baste at least once.
