Stuffed Jumbo Shells

  • 1/2 (12 oz.) pkg. jumbo shells (20)
  • 1 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, minced
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 c. celery
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. walnuts, chopped
  • 2 (15 1/2 oz.) spaghetti sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

    One hour before serving, prepare shells as label directs; drain well.

    Heat salad oil, ground beef, onion, garlic, celery, salt and pepper until meat is well browned.

    Stir in walnuts and 1/2 jar spaghetti sauce.

    Stuff rounded tablespoonful of meat mixture into each shell.

    Reserve remaining meat mixture.

    Spoon 1 cup sauce into 10 x 2-inch casserole.

    Sprinkle with remaining meat mixture.

    Spoon remaining sauce evenly in and around shells, sprinkle with cheese.

    Bake in 350° oven for 20 minutes.
