- 2 c. Stove Top stuffing
- 1 c. hot water
- 16 large mushrooms (about 1 lb.)
- 5 Tbsp. margarine, melted
- 1/2 small green pepper, finely chopped
- 1/2 small red pepper, finely chopped
Directions

1Stir stuffing mix and water in a medium bowl.

2Remove stems from mushrooms; chop stems.

3Cook and stir mushroom caps in 3 tablespoons hot margarine in large skillet until lightly brown. Arrange in shallow baking dish.

4Cook and stir stems and peppers in skillet until tender.

5Stir into prepared stuffing.

6Spoon into mushroom caps; drizzle tops with remaining 2 tablespoons butter. Broil 5 minutes.

7Makes 8 servings.
