- 1/2 lb. sweet Italian sausage, remove skin
- 1/4 c. bread crumbs
- 3/4 to 1 lb. fresh large mushrooms
- 1 very small diced onion
- 2 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1 egg
Directions

1Remove mushroom stems.

2Dice about 1/2 or less of stems. Place mushroom caps on foil covered cookie sheet.

3In a mixing bowl, add sausage, stems, onions, egg, bread crumbs and cheese. Mix well.

4Stuff caps with mixture.

5Bake at 350° about 40 minutes.

6Serve piping hot.
