- 6 large white onions
- 3/4 c. chopped meat
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 2 Tbsp. catsup
- 1/4 c. bread crumbs (fine)
Directions

1Parboil onions about 15 minutes and drain.

2Mix meat, salt, pepper, shortening and catsup.

3Remove centers of onions and fill with meat mixture.

4Arrange in baking dish; cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour.

5Remove cover; sprinkle tops with crumbs.

6Dot with shortening and bake until brown.
