- 4 red pears
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 cup gouda cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup pecans, chopped (toasted)
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375°F.

2Slice pears in half lengthwise and scoop out a little of the flesh to make bowls.

3Brush pears with oil. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and thyme.

4Roast pears for 15 minutes and then take out of the oven.

5Combine cheese, bacon and nuts. Fill pears with mixture.

6Put the pears back in the oven and roast 15 minutes more.
