Stuffed Pepper Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (28 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (28 oz.) can diced tomatoes (undrained)
  • 2 c. green pepper, cut in 1-inch squares
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. sea salt
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 c. cooked white rice

    Brown ground beef and drain.

    Add remaining ingredients except rice to soup pot.

    Bring mixture to boil; reduce heat and simmer 30 to 40 minutes or until peppers and onions are tender. Add rice.

    Heat thoroughly for about five minutes and serve.
