- 1/2 lb. butter
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 rib celery, finely chopped
- 4 sprigs parsley, stems and leaves finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 1/2 lb. ground beef (twice ground)
- 1/2 lb. small fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 loaf stale French bread
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Split peppers in half, horizontally; remove seeds and membranes.

3Wash and blanch in boiling water for 2 minutes and set aside.
