Stuffed Peppers

- 4 peppers, cut in half lengthwise
- salt water
- 1/4 c. rice
- 3/4 lb. ground meat
- 1 small can tomato sauce
Directions

1After peppers are prepared, put in pot with salt water to barely cover peppers.

2Cook 10 minutes.

3Cook 1/4 cup rice in same water.

4Brown 3/4 pound ground meat in pan with onion and salt. Mix rice with meat.

5Lay peppers, cut side up, in casserole dish. Stuff with rice and meat mixture.

6Pour 1 small can tomato sauce over peppers.

7Bake 1/2 hour at 325°.
