- 1 lb. ground beef sauteed with 1/2 c. onion
- 2 Tbsp. fat
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1/2 can water
- 1 c. cooked rice
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour (over meat)
- 6 peppers
- buttered bread crumbs
- grated cheese
Directions

1Saute the ground beef and onion in the fat.

2Add the tomato sauce, water, rice, salt, pepper, sugar and flour.

3Simmer for 15 minutes.

4Clean peppers; boil for 2 minutes and drain.

5Stuff the peppers with hamburger mixture.

6On top, add 4 tablespoons buttered bread crumbs and 4 tablespoons grated cheese.

7Bake for 1/2 hour at 375°.
