Stuffed Peppers

  • 4 medium green peppers
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 c. cooked rice
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce

Directions

    Wash peppers.

    Cut in half lengthwise and remove seeds. Lightly mix beef, rice, onion, salt, pepper and 1/2 cup tomato sauce.

    Pile into pepper halves.

    Arrange in shallow baking dish. Pour remaining sauce over peppers.

    Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour.
