- 6 to 8 green peppers
- 1 to 1 1/2 lb. hamburg
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1 c. Minute rice
- 1 (12 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
- 2 Tbsp. garlic powder
- 1 small (6 oz.) Hunt's sauce (optional)
Directions

1Cut peppers in half; remove seeds.

2In a large skillet, fill half with water; parboil peppers until tender.

3Mix in bowl hamburg, rice, garlic powder, diced onion and stewed tomatoes; mix well.

4Spoon mixture into pepper halves; place in baking pan. (Cover stuffed peppers with sauce, if desired.)

5Cover with aluminum foil.

6Bake 40 minutes in preheated 350° oven.

7Serves 6.
