- 4 green peppers
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 chopped onion
- 1/2 can tomato sauce
- salt
- pepper
- 2 c. cooked rice
- 1 1/2 cans tomato sauce
- grated cheese (if prefer)
Directions

1Stem, wash and scoop out centers of green peppers.

2Blanch in boiling salt water for 5 minutes.

3Combine ground beef, onion, 1/2 can tomato sauce, salt, pepper and rice.

4Stuff peppers with mixture.

5Cover with 1 1/2 cans tomato sauce.

6Can add grated cheese, if desired.

7Bake 1 1/4 hours at 350°.

8Serves 4.
