- 4 large green peppers
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 2 1/2 c. cooked rice
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 tsp. chopped garlic
- 1 small can tomato sauce
- 2 Tbsp. fresh chopped parsley
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Wash and core peppers; set aside.

2Fry hamburger (break up while cooking) with onion, garlic, parsley, salt and pepper. Drain.

3Mix well with cooked rice.

4Adjust salt and pepper to taste.

5Combine with 1/2 can tomato sauce.

6Mix well.

7Fill peppers to mound on top.

8By tablespoon add remaining tomato sauce to cover top of mixture.

9Place peppers close together in a baking dish with water just to cover bottom of dish.

10Bake, covered, 1 hour in a 350° oven until peppers are done.
