- 6 medium bell peppers
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/3 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 lb. can tomatoes
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. uncooked rice
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 4 oz. American cheese
Directions

1Precook peppers in boiling, salted water for 5 minutes and drain.

2Cook ground beef and onion until lightly browned.

3Season with salt and pepper.

4Drain.

5Add tomatoes, water, rice and Worcestershire sauce.

6Cover and simmer until rice is tender.

7Stir in cheese.

8Stuff peppers; stand upright in baking dish.

9Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.
