Stuffed Peppers

- 1 1/4 lb. ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 c. cooked rice (salt to suit your taste)
- 1/2 c. tomato catsup
- about 6 or 8 peppers
- 1 egg
Directions

1First, put your peppers in boiling water after you have split them in halves.

2Boil for 5 minutes.

3Cook your 1 cup of rice in 2 cups of water for 15 minutes (covered).

4Remove from stove and add to the ground beef and other ingredients.

5Stuff the peppers; put in long pan and add tomato catsup on top of each pepper.

6Now pour around the peppers 1 quart of tomato juice.

7Bake at 350° for about 1 hour or until most of the tomato juice has cooked into the peppers.
