  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. cooked rice
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1/4 Tbsp. pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 3 to 4 green bell peppers, cored
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1/4 c. water

Directions

    Mix ground beef, rice, onion, salt, pepper and egg together. Divide meat into equal portions; stuff peppers.

    Place in roaster and cover with tomato sauce and water.

    Bake slowly for 2 to 3 hours at 300° or until peppers are soft and beef is done inside.
