- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. cooked rice
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/4 Tbsp. pepper
- 1 egg
- 3 to 4 green bell peppers, cored
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1/4 c. water
Directions

1Mix ground beef, rice, onion, salt, pepper and egg together. Divide meat into equal portions; stuff peppers.

2Place in roaster and cover with tomato sauce and water.

3Bake slowly for 2 to 3 hours at 300° or until peppers are soft and beef is done inside.
