- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 c. chopped fresh tomatoes
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 Tbsp. chopped green onion
- 3/4 c. cooked dry rice
- 5 to 6 peppers, cleaned
Directions

1Cook peppers 7 to 10 minutes in boiling salted water.

2Sprinkle salt in skillet; brown ground beef.

3Add garlic and tomatoes and cook 5 minutes.

4Take off stove and add chili powder, pepper, onion and rice.

5Fill peppers; top with cheese.

6Bake 35 minutes at 375°. Freezes beautifully.
