- 6 green peppers
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 can tomatoes
- 1 large can tomato sauce, divided
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/4 c. rice
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- salt and pepper to taste
- grated cheese
Directions

1Remove seed from peppers and boil 2 minutes in clear water. Drain and cool.

2Saute ground beef.

3Add onion and can of tomatoes. Cook about 15 minutes on medium.

4Add remaining ingredients, but only 1/2 of the tomato sauce.

5Bring to a boil and simmer about 30 minutes.

6Fill peppers and place in a baking dish.

7Pour remaining half of tomato sauce over tops and sprinkle with a little grated cheese.

8Bake in 350° oven for 20 to 30 minutes.
