Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 7 slices bread, torn into real small fine pieces
  • 1 large can whole tomatoes
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • to 6 whole green peppers

Directions

    Mix all ingredients together in large bowl.

    Stuff each pepper with ground meat mixture.
  3. 3
    If any meat mixture is left, you can make balls.

    In a Dutch oven, put 2 cans of tomato soup and juice from whole tomatoes and 1 can of water.

    Cook on top of stove on medium heat for 1 hour (covered).

    Use tomato soup mixture for gravy.
