- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 7 slices bread, torn into real small fine pieces
- 1 large can whole tomatoes
- salt and pepper to taste
- to 6 whole green peppers
Directions

1Mix all ingredients together in large bowl.

2Stuff each pepper with ground meat mixture.

3If any meat mixture is left, you can make balls.

4In a Dutch oven, put 2 cans of tomato soup and juice from whole tomatoes and 1 can of water.

5Cook on top of stove on medium heat for 1 hour (covered).

6Use tomato soup mixture for gravy.
