- 4 large bell peppers
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. cooked rice
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1 small egg, beaten
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes, mashed
Directions

1Boil peppers 5 minutes in salty water.

2Slightly brown ground beef with onion.

3Drain.

4Add all other ingredients.

5Mix well and divide in peppers.

6Place in skillet.
-
7Add 1 cup of water (more if needed) and simmer 40 minutes.
