- 6 green peppers
- 3/4 lb. ground turkey or beef
- 1/2 c. fresh bread crumbs
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg, lightly beaten or 1/4 c. Egg Beaters
- 3/4 tsp. salt (optional)
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 oz. tomato sauce
- 6 oz. tomato sauce
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 1/2 tsp. brown sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. mustard
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Directions

1Cut tops from peppers and remove seeds and membranes.

2Cook for 4 or 5 minutes in boiling water; drain.

3Combine meat with the next 6 ingredients and mix well.

4Stuff into peppers.

5Combine all of the other ingredients to make a sauce and pour over peppers.

6Preheat oven to 350°.

7Bake for an hour or until done.
