- 6 large sweet peppers
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 c. cooked rice
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 3/4 c. Mozzarella cheese
Directions

1Clean peppers.

2Cook peppers in boiling water for 5 minutes. Cook beef and onion in skillet until light brown; drain.

3Stir in rice, salt, garlic salt and 1 cup tomato sauce.

4Heat through. Stuff each pepper with beef mixture; stand upright in ungreased baking dish (8 x 8 x 2-inch).

5Pour remaining sauce over peppers. Cover and bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

6Uncover and bake 15 minutes longer.

7Sprinkle with cheese.
