Ingredients
- 6 medium green peppers
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/3 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 lb. can tomatoes
- 1/2 c. uncooked rice
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 4 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Cut peppers in half; remove seeds.

2Precook peppers in boiling salt water for 5 minutes.

3Cook beef and onion until meat is browned.

4Season with salt and pepper.

5Add tomatoes, water, uncooked rice and Worcestershire sauce.

6Cover and simmer until rice is tender, about 15 minutes.

7Stir shredded cheese into beef and rice mixture.

8Stuff peppers and stand upright in baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 25 minutes.
