- 10 medium green peppers
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1 (8 oz.) can seasoned tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 2 c. cooked rice or whole kernel corn
- 2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- bread crumbs
Directions

1Brown meat and onion until almost dry.

2Add tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce and salt.

3Simmer until hot (about 5 minutes).

4Add cheese; stir until melted.

5Stir in rice.

6Stuff peppers; sprinkle tops with bread crumbs.

7Fill baking dish with 1/2 inch water.

8Place peppers in dish; bake, uncovered, at 350° for 40 minutes, or until hot through.

9Serves 8.
