- 4 green peppers
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 2 c. cooked rice (about 2/3 c. uncooked)
- 1/4 c. chopped onions
- 1 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 (8 oz.) cans Hunt's tomato sauce
Directions

1Cut green peppers in half lengthwise.

2Remove seeds and wash. Combine ground beef with rice, onion, salt, pepper and 1/2 can tomato sauce.

3Pile lightly into pepper halves.

4Place in a large baking dish.

5Pour tomato sauce on top of each pepper.

6Cover tightly and bake in moderate oven at 350° for 1 1/4 hours or until peppers are tender, basting occasionally.

7Makes 4 to 6 servings.
