  • 1 c. cooked long grain rice
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 c. beef broth
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 Tbsp. light brown sugar
  • 2 lb. ground or chopped meat
  • 2 Tbsp. sage
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
