Stuffed Peppers For Two

Ingredients

  • 2 medium-sized green peppers
  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/4 c. uncooked instant rice
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce (with cheese)
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • dash of pepper

Directions

    Cut off top of green pepper; remove seeds.

    Cook 5 minutes in boiling water to cover.

    Drain and set aside.

    Combine ground beef, rice, 1/4 cup tomato sauce and remaining ingredients.

    Stuff peppers with mixture and place in a small baking pan.

    Pour remaining tomato sauce over stuffed peppers.

    Cover and bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes or until meat is done.

    Recipe can be increased for more than two.
