Stuffed Peppers with Goat Cheese & Sage

  • 8 whole Mini Sweet Peppers, Assorted Colors
  • 4 ounces, weight Goat Cheese Crumbles
  • 4 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Fresh Sage, Minced
  • 2 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
  • 2 teaspoons Minced Garlic
  • Optional For Garnish: Dried Sage Or Fresh If You Prefer

Directions

    Preheat your oven to 300 F.

    Wash, cut in half lengthwise and clean out the insides of the peppers.

    Put them cut side up on a rimmed baking sheet.

    Set aside.

    Add goat cheese, cream cheese, black pepper, sage, maple syrup and garlic into a a medium-sized microwave-safe bowl.

    Microwave for about a minute and mix well.

    Spoon the filling into the pepper halves.

    Put baking sheet into the oven and bake for 20 minutes.

    Garnish with additional sage if you would like.

    I used dried sage on top.
