  • 1/2 c. sweet cream butter
  • 1/3 c. chopped onion
  • 1 c. water
  • 8 oz. pkg. herb seasoned stuffing mix
  • 1/3 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1/3 c. chopped apple
  • 2 Tbsp. sweet cream butter
  • 6 double rib pork chops with pocket inside

    Heat oven to 350°.

    In 10-inch skillet, melt 1/2 cup butter. Add onion and cook over medium heat until tender (4 to 5 minutes). Remove from heat.

    Stir in water, stuffing, walnuts and apple. Fill in pockets in pork chops with stuffing; secure with wooden picks.
