Stuffed Pork Chops

  • 6 thick-cut pork chops
  • 4 c. soft bread, cubed
  • 1/2 c. margarine, melted
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. sage
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1/4 c. catsup
  • 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Directions

    Mix bread cubes, margarine, onion and seasonings.

    Cut pockets in pork chops.

    Stuff with dressing.

    Wrap cord string around chops to hold dressing.

    Arrange in roasting pan, leaving cover off and brown in hot oven.

    Mix water, catsup and Worcestershire sauce; pour over chops.

    Cover and bake at 375° for about 1 hour or until tender.
