- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 small bell pepper, chopped
- butter or margarine
- 2 c. herb seasoned stuffing
- 2/3 c. water
- 1/3 c. butter or margarine
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. thyme
- 4 (1-inch) butterflied pork chops
Directions

1Saute onion and pepper in small amount of butter.

2In small bowl, mix sauteed onion and pepper with stuffing, 2/3 cup water, butter, salt, pepper and thyme until well blended.

3For moist stuffing, add a little more water.

4Insert stuffing in chops and place them in lightly buttered baking pan.

5Bake for 30 minutes, covered, and 30 minutes more, uncovered, at 325°.
