- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 3 c. soft bread crumbs
- 2 c. finely chopped apples
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 2 tsp. chopped parsley
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Melt butter in saucepan.

2Add onion; saut until lightly browned.

3Add remaining ingredients and mix well.

4Slit 6 double-thick pork chops from outer edge to bone to make a pocket. Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper inside and out.

5Stuff loosely with dressing mixture.

6Brown in skillet 15 to 20 minutes.

7Bake in oven, covered, 45 minutes; uncover 15 minutes or until tender (350°).
