Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 8 oz. Mozzarella, shredded
  • 1/2 c. Italian bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c. chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • salt and pepper
  • 18 jumbo shells
  • 2 jars (15 1/2 oz. each) spaghetti sauce
  • Parmesan cheese, sprinkled over top

Directions

    Brown meat, onion and garlic; drain.

    Cool.

    Stir in cheese, egg, crumbs and parsley.

    Season with salt and pepper.

    Cook shells in salted boiling water about 15 minutes.

    Run cold water over them; drain.

    Lay on paper towels.

    Spoon some sauce over bottom of pan.

    Place stuffed shells on top and pour rest of sauce over.

    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

    Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes until casserole is brown and bubbly.
