- 4 tomatoes
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 Tbsp. minced onion
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. chervil
- 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Slice tomatoes in half.

2Seed and scoop out pulp.

3Set pulp aside.

4Heat oil in skillet.

5Place tomatoes, cut side down, into oil.

6Cook until the sides are carmelized.

7Remove and place on a pastry sheet.

8Add the butter to the skillet.

9Saute the garlic and onion until tender.

10Stir in seasonings and pulp.

11Saute 1 more minute.

12Fill tomato halves; sprinkle with cheese.

13Heat in broiler until brown (about 2 minutes).
