Stuffed Whole Tomato

- 1 tomato, fresh (medium size)
- 1/2 c. cooked rice
- 1 tsp. butter or margarine
- 1 to 2 oz. ground beef or chicken
Directions

1Wash tomato and remove the center.

2Sprinkle the hollow with a bit of salt and pepper.

3Mix rice with tomato and the ground meat. Refill the center of the tomato with mixture.

4Place butter on top of tomato and set in a lightly buttered pan.

5Bake in 350° oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
