- 2 medium zucchini
- 1 c. soft bread crumbs
- 1 slice American cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 c. herb seasoned stuffing
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 onion
Directions

1Wash squash; cut off ends.

2Cook in boiling water 5 minutes. Halve lengthwise; remove pulp with spoon.

3Combine bread crumbs and other ingredients with pulp.

4Fill zucchini shells; dot with butter and additional cheese if desired.

5Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

6Serves 4 to 6 people.
