Ingredients

  • 2 lb. yellow squash, cooked and drained
  • 1 chopped medium onion
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 pt. sour cream
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 box stuffing mix (6 serving size)
  • grated Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Slice squash thinly; cook and drain.

    In a large mixing bowl, empty the box of stuffing and add the amount of water directed on the package.

    Melt the margarine.

    Add margarine, onion, soup, sour cream and squash to stuffing in bowl; mix together.

    Spread into a 9 x 13-inch pan sprayed with Pam.

    Sprinkle grated Cheddar cheese on top.

    Bake for 30 minutes at 350°.
