  • 1 1/2 loaves bread (day old)
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3/4 c. finely chopped celery
  • 1 c. oleo
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup, divided
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 can water

Directions

    Cube bread.

    Saute onion and celery until limp (not brown) in oleo.

    Add to bread.

    Add 1/2 can of soup, thyme and pepper.

    Mix well.

    Form into 12 balls.

    Place in a greased baking dish.
